Situated among olive trees, with its charming garden full of flowers, this restaurant built in traditional style from wood and local stone is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the hospitality and warm welcome of chef Spiros and his team.
The Chef and owner 'Spyros Tranakas' is originally from Paxos and has studied in various countries for many years. He has now returned to his homeland where he has opened his first restaurant.
A wide selection of dishes are on offer including time-honoured recipes and salads, all carefully prepared using excellent ingredients. The menu features a number of local specialities from both Corfu and Paxos such as 'Sofrito', 'Bourdetto' and 'Pastitsada' to name but a few. Also on offer are selections of mouth-watering fried fish, lobster, prawns, squid, mussels and Spiros' delicious special seafood spaghetti with lobster.
The Carnayo cellar is stocked full of Greek wines and if required, their team are always happy to advise on either the perfect selection to accompany your meal or to offer suggestions for new wines to try.
Three evenings each week, live music is played by local Greek musicians. On these occasions anyone may get up and dance if the mood takes them. At the bar a wide range of spirits, liqueurs, Cognac and cocktails are available to suit all tastes.
Carnayo is open daily from 1pm, throughout the year (Kitchen open throughout the day, from 13:00 – 23:30).

Rent a Chef: Maybe you have a special occasion where you require some favourite dishes prepared at your villa? Your own Personal Chef Spyros can come and cater for you.
Full Catering can also be arranged for larger events with everything you may need for your party.
